Your Season is Coming

How many of you have looked around in your life and it seems everybody around you is getting blessed but you? The enemy will make sure you see everybody your age having what you want. They’ve written books, they’re graduated, they’re making more money than you, they have your dream job, etc. You look around and the enemy will have you thinking that God is blessing them and not blessing you. Have you ever thought for a second that maybe it’s because what you’re carrying is so impactful to the world that what you’re carrying isn’t just a little dog, but it’s an elephant. It’s taking time for God begin to blossom you and use you. God is paying attention to you in those seasons that look like you aren’t going anywhere. How do you react whenever you are watching yourself go through a break up and people around you are talking about you? You’re saying, “What’s wrong with me?” The enemy wants you to get to a place where you’re stuck like a turtle in peanut butter.

When you know that the same power that rose Jesus from the dead lives on the inside of you, you began to quit being pitiful and become powerful. You look at that mountain and tell that mountain how big your God is. I serve a God that said in His presence, I make the crooked ways straight. I serve a God that said in His presence, the mountains melt like wax. You’re praying for a miracle. “Lord, give me a financial miracle.” Yet, you’re not tithing. God asks of you to tithe ten percent. It’s a fact Jack that when you’re giving, everything is blessed. You may say, “I’ve been giving for years and I haven’t seen any favor on my part.” That’s why, because you’re looking for something when you’re giving instead of saying “God, I’m doing what You told me to do and as I do what You told me to do, You’re going to make a way out of no way. I’m going to be a lender and not a borrower. I’m going to be the head and not the tail.” We want a full-time God on a part-time relationship.

Speak out right now, “New season, here I come!” Start prophesying it. You thought God forgot about you when God was just waiting for you. Imagine God using you to be the answer to somebody’s prayer. What you’re going through right now isn’t even for you, it’s for somebody else. It’s for those people who you’re going to come in contact with. What you thought was your greatest loss ends up being your biggest blessing, and your biggest training. If you didn’t lose things, you wouldn’t have been on your face crying out to God. God took all the people I used to hang out with out of my life, because He knew they couldn’t go where He was taking me. It came to a point where I sat at home and wrote my deepest prayers and thoughts in a journal instead of going out because He knew that when I got it together, that I was going to write a blog. Here is my blog with my heart poured out. My God told me to spill it.

  2. Beautifully stated! When we’re immersed in our problems, we become very insulate and self directed, thinking nobody gets the depths of our experience like we do. But we sometimes forget that God never gave up his plan. There’s purpose to everything and every struggle. Let’s keep praying and holding tight to our faith. The places he’ll take us will be amazing!

  3. Or, maybe, you’ve prayed for God to bless you, to show you Himself, to make you like Christ, or to use you for His glory, and this IS the answer, rather, the beginning of the answer? What if we asked God for big things? To let us see His glory, like Moses asked? To be conformed to the image of His Son, transformed into His image, like God promises in 2nd Corinthians 3:18 and Romans 8:29? Let’s not be ashamed to ask God for the truly big things! It might hurt – it will be hurt – but that’s nothing to the all-surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord, in the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of participation in His sufferings.

Quote from your post: “What you thought was your greatest loss ends up being your biggest blessing, and your biggest training. If you didn’t lose things, you wouldn’t have been on your face crying out to God.” So often, beautifully true!

Thanks for confirming that which I know is true. God given us what we have and we have the ability to give him back a portion of what He allow us to experience. Yes, it is so true my daily walk is to share so that others who is struggling in what I have mastered, conquered or won can see that they can conquer their struggles, vices or situations too. God is so awesome and He has not left us but yet He has equipped us with the word and power as you and the word says that He had when he conquer the grave… Amen

  5. What a great an inspiring post! This was very powerful! A question anyone who has been in the church for any amount of time has asked! One thing I have found over the years is the more you pray for others and that God blesses them, the more he seems to bless you!
Love the “Turtle stuck in peanut butter” statement

  6. Titiana, today was the first time I read some of your writings and I sense that God (is doing) has done a great work in you! Thanks for the writings , you are letting your experiences reach others and giving them hope in Jesus. 2Corinthians 1″3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
    God Bless you!
